Sweet, silly, stretchy

Annie is a pretty young calico with a distinctive orange nose. She loves to STR-E-E-E-TCH all the way out as far as she can and then lie there in that position to bat at toys. She may be a gumby doll is a furry disguise!

Annie was found outside and is initially shy of people and overwhelmed by too much noise and sudden movement. But she’s a sweet, gentle girl by nature, so once she’s comfortable, she will come to you to ask for pets and purr up a storm in gratitude. She’s not yet a lap-sitter, but she definitely enjoys snuggling up against you. She’ll chirp a sweet little greeting when you come home, and she’ll remind you many times that mealtime is drawing near.

Annie has met her foster’s resident cats and is very curious and eager to play with them. One of the cats is not a fan, but she respects his space and leaves him alone. She plays nicely with the other one, and that cat is helping to teach her that living in a home with a kind person is a good thing! We can see her coming out of her shell.

Annie likes to chase and bunny-kick her toys, and she’s quite entranced with the track ball toy. She uses her scratching pad like a good girl.

Because she’s easily startled and overwhelmed by noise and sudden movements, Annie would do best in a calm home with patient adults who will give her the time she needs to adjust and feel safe. She would love to have a cat-friendly kitty friend who can continue teaching her that people are good. We know she’ll reward your patience with lots of love and purrs!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
