Magnum may have three legs, but lives his life like he has five - one for each of his favorite toys!

Magnum is already a wonderful house companion. He’s house-trained, comfortable relaxing while you’re away, and enjoys lounging around the house just as much as playtime. This happy boy spends his days doing what he does best: playing with squeaky toys, carrying around his favorite ball, and settling in for long, cozy naps.
Despite having three legs, Magnum gets around great and doesn’t let anything slow him down. Magnum has a custom prosthetic leg that will come along with him, but Magnum is already an expert at living life his own way. He enjoys shorter walks and loves meeting new friends. Magnum is a smart cookie – speaking of cookies, he will learn anything with you for another one!

His perfect day?
A few toy sessions, playing with his Jolly Ball, some backyard or park time, and then curling up nearby. He is content if you have to leave for work or to keep you company on remote days. Already have a puzzle toy? Magnum loves them for meals! Magnum shines in a calm home where he can enjoy his toys, his people, and the simple joys of everyday life (did some say dog bed?).

If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a playful heart and a whole lot of personality, Magnum might be your guy!

INTERESTED IN FOSTERING?

This pup is currently located at our Town Lake Animal Center (1156 W. Cesar Chavez, but use 1200 Reserve Road for mapping purposes). We'd love to show them off to you! To learn more about them, head in any day between 12:00PM - 6:00PM. We are open 7 days a week! Go to Building B and ask to speak with a Matchmaker about fostering this pup. You will sit down and discuss all we know about them and, if it's a good fit, get to meet them then! Please budget for a wait time unless you arrive right at opening as we cannot dictate walk-in traffic (wait times tend to be highest in the evenings and on weekends). If this pup ends up not being the best fit, we have so many other pups in need that we can suggest for your household on the spot!
