Calm, Playful, Loving

Gilligan has a heart as big as his paws - and he has some huge mittens (all the better for making biscuits with)! This lovable big orange guy is looking for lots of human interaction in a forever home. He’s an expert biscuit maker who enjoys being petted and snuggling with his people!

Gilligan has been so happy spending lots of quality time with his foster. He often sleeps on or beside his foster and loves getting lots of pets. Gilligan’s foster likes to start out slow with the pets, but once they start, Gilligan doesn’t want them to stop! He’ll even roll over on his back for some belly rubs too. He’s not a fan of being picked up, but he still wants to be near you as much as possible.

Gilligan still has lots of playful kitten energy and gets the zoomies where he slips and slides all over the house. He likes all kinds of toys, but he especially goes crazy for balls, mice, and string toys. Gilligan can be a bit of a chatterbox too, so you can expect lots of friendly meows from him!

As much as Gilligan loves his quality time with his people, he also likes his alone time as well. After getting his fill of playtime and pets, Gillian will often retreat to his own space where he can relax and nap in solitude, so he’s not super needy and perfectly content being on his own for short periods. He hasn’t met any other pets as far as we know, but he’s such a friendly guy that he should be able to get along with other pets just fine!

Gilligan has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Gilligan can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
