Mellow, Cautious, Affectionate

Say hey to HeyBud! While his dashing tuxedo is suitable for even the most formal occasion, he wears it as his round-the-clock jammies. Loafin’ and lazin’ are his favorite activities. In fact, a day snuggling on the couch with you is his idea of the BEST DAY EVER!

HeyBud is a calm guy who comes off as reserved at first. He just needs time to get to know new people. Once he warms up he loves getting pets and scritches and is ready to be your sweet, chunky cuddle machine.

When HeyBud is hungry or is in the mood for pets, he’ll meow his request. Otherwise, he is a deep thinker without much to say. He is also an avid bird watcher. He likes watching birds strut and flutter by on cat TV or from a sunny windowsill.

HeyBud gets along well with other cats. He would likely enjoy a home that includes another cat, who is FeLV positive like him, to have as a friend and to help him feel at home with his new family. He is on a special wet diet for his sensitive stomach to help keep his tummy feeling good.

HeyBud’s ideal home would include someone who gives him consistent love and attention. If you’re looking for a chill couch potato to cozy up with, HeyBud would love to be your snuggle spud. Contact us for an intro!

HeyBud has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. HeyBud can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about HeyBud’s care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
