Chatty, Appreciates Technology, Sports Fan
Edgar Eduardo not only loves to watch kitty TV, but he is also a fan of baseball! Some people say baseball is a slow game, but Edgar disagrees; he thinks it’s fascinating. We’re not sure who his favorite team is yet, though!
He’s also an athlete, and he adores his feather toys and playtime! “Hunting” toys is one of his favorite things. Other favorite things include treats, pets, and chatting with his people. He is always ready to cheerfully greet you in the morning! You can expect ankle rubs, head nudges, and a steady stream of adorable commentary as he politely asks for pets - and snacks.
When he’s not zooming after toys, Edgar will perch and watch the world go by or curl up next to you and relax. He’s confident, affectionate, and knows exactly how to make himself at home. Once he gets settled in and is comfortable with his new home and his new people, he will now hang out on the couch all day, is fine with being held, and will sleep with you at night. He just needs time, patience, and space to get used to everything new; until then, he will tuck himself into cozy, private places as he figures everything out.
Edgar gets along just fine with other cats and has lived with a dog (his strategy: simply pretend the dog doesn’t exist). He’d thrive in a calm home where he gets plenty of attention, playtime, and opportunities to show off his sweet, loving nature. He can also entertain himself, though, and would be fine with a family who goes off to work during the day.
With his cool white undercoat and tiny vampire fangs, Edgar is an adorable, special little man! He is playful and chatty with a big personality. If you are looking for a built-in best friend who plays hard, cuddles harder, and will absolutely chat with you about it, contact us today to arrange a meet & greet with Edgar!
Edgar has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. He can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about Edgar’s care.
All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
